OK, I’m not sure of the technicalities, but that should have been fine I would have said. I don’t think the gates at Liverpool Street LU are set up to accept e-tickets yet, so I would expect you to be let through. I think you should probably seek clarification from the ticket retailer and/or Great Northern.
