With very few National Rail ticket offices still selling Oyster due to the withdrawal of FasTIS, is there any indication as to how staff will be able to get the “NR Only” PRIV discount added to an Oyster card going forwards?
When it was introduced it was stated that it was not possible to get it added at London Underground stations, and the NRE Knowledgebase page still says the same. (Mind you, it also lists several NR Ticket Offices that no longer retail Oyster as locations you can get it added).
This is not an area I generally get involved with. If it is causing a problem then maybe RSTL need to liaise with TfL to arrive at a solution. Failing that, maybe a union would take up barriers to obtaining a legitimate benefit.
