    So I’ve been doing this journey on the same day using contactless:
    Ockendon (NR/Zone 10) touch in @ 0745 to Tottenham Court Road (1) touch out @ 0850 — charged £8.80
    Tottenham Court Road (1) touch in @ 1745 to Ockendon (NR/Zone 10) touch out @ 1845 — charged £7.10

    Using the fare finder, I should be paying peak fares both way when using contactless, however that doesn’t seem to be the case!

    Any ideas if I hit some daily cap that I’m not aware of?

    Hi Bob,

    Yes, you are hitting the zone 1-3 cap (£8.70) plus two extension fares from zone 4 to Ockendon (£3.60 each).
