I have got the following charges today and I can’t identify what cap it is on. My card is National Railcard.

    08:35 Bus 332 £1.75
    08:45 Bus 245 £0.00 (hopper fare)
    08:52 Cricklewood – Farringdon £4.20
    17:30 Chancery Lane – Putney Bridge £3.40
21:31 Putney Bridge – West Brompton – Brondesbury £0.15 (capped)
    22:23 Bus 316 £0.00 (capped)

The total amount is £9.50, however it is £0.10 less than the zone 1-3 all-day cap. Meanwhile, my after 09:30 travel also doesn’t reach the zone 1-2 off-peak cap of £5.30 as well. So what has my card capped at?

In an earlier post, Mike suggested that there’s a bug that causes morning peak busses to contribute towards the off-peak cap.

Adding the £1.75 to your off peak travel does indeed total £5.30 so I’d suggest it may be that.

Yes, that’ll be the bus bug again. Treat it as a bonus.
