My planned journey, with National Railcard Oyster on a holiday, is Willesden Green – West Hampstead return and 2 tram journeys only. I will use National Rail tickets (a combination of a season ticket and a ticket going beyond the Oyster area) to bridge the gap.

    What will I cap at?

    Hi Michael,

Use of the tram will trigger the zone 1-3 cap of £6.30. You’ll pay £5.80 because the 4 journeys won’t reach the cap.

As Thameslink was problematic I ended up making the following journeys:

Willesden Green to Victoria (Underground): £1.80
    Tram: £1.75
    Tram: £1.75
    Bus: £0.00

    Total capped at £5.30

That’s interesting. How long was there between touching in for the second tram and touching in on the bus? Could that actually have been a hopper?

No such possibility. There was a trip to Brighton in between!

OK. Can you give me the times for each journey anyway. I’d like to try and replicate it.

On a Sunday with National Railcard Oyster Card:
    10:28 Willesden Green – 10:54 Victoria (Underground)
    11:22 East Croydon (Tram)
    12:44 Lloyd Park
    19:56 Bus 302

I think you may have found a bug.
