    Hi there,

    As the title suggest i wanted to ask can i travel through Zone1 (Like change trains at Liverpool street) using my Zone 2-3 Travelcard but start and finish my journey in Zone 2/3? Or will i be charged for that?

    Also does tapping time limits apply to Travelcards as well? Like hypothetically can i tap in Zone 2 spend the whole day travelling on trains and Tap out in Zone 2/3 somewhere without any extra fare?

    Hi Amber,

    Apologies for the delay.

    If you cross zone 1 from one side to the other then you will be charged a zone 1 single from your PAYG balance.

    Time limits do apply when using a travelcard, but in your specific example you might get away with no further charge. I would advise having some credit in case you find yourself needing to exit outside of your zones.
