Hi,
Just wondering if someone could have an idea about this, whether I’m misunderstanding something, or there’s some misprogrammed oyster readers at Waterloo.
I tapped in to Waterloo LU on my Oyster card off-peak. (Well, I actually tapped into the York Rd entrance, walked through, tapped out again, and then tapped into the readers on the way down to the W+C line, but it seems happy with that, saying that internal journey was £0.00). I didn’t get a NR train into Waterloo.
I took the W+C to Bank, then took the DLR out to Heron Quays, tapped out, tapped into Canary Wharf LU and went to North Greenwich. (I know I could have Jubilee lined it the whole way, but I wanted some DLR). Found it charged me £3.20, the Z1-Z2 NR-T fare with 1/3 off railcard discount.
I don’t particulary care about a refund, as I capped out later on anyway, I’m just intrigued if anyone knows why it hasn’t charged the expected £1.80 Z1-Z2 TfL-LU fare (which even their single fare finder would suggest).
Thanks 🙂
