Haven’t been to Moorgate to confirm this yet, but my understanding is that a ticket valid on LU / TfL services would be needed to use the passages through to Liverpool Street, as they go outside the area where NR London Terminals tickets are valid. For Liverpool St validity, believe the routing from Finsbury Park is via Highbury & Islington, Hackney Central, Hackney Downs (using London Overground).
