I touched in at Stratford at 15:39 and touched at Stratford International at 17:02. The website says that the maximum journey time within zone 2 only is 100 minutes on Saturday daytime.
However, the touch showed enter and after I travelled to London Bridge later, the journey history showed that there was no touch out associated with my touch in at Stratford. What did I do wrong?
Well that’s interesting. I agree that the MJTs near zone 1 suggest that more time should be allowed, but if you check my fare finder you’ll see that it is just the single zone figures for that journey.
Dare I ask how it took so long to travel one stop on the DLR?
I was wondering why it seemingly took so long to go one stop on the DLR and at first I thought maybe the time was off by an hour but then realised the post said 83 minutes.
I was at Stratford International DLR myself last week and they are doing works on the escalators so I took the lift up but if you do that the Oyster Validator is off to the side and I nearly missed it because someone was standing in my vision!
So I’m wondering if the OP left the station and went into Westfield then realised they hadn’t tapped out and went back to do it well within the time limit but it looks like a long journey time was taken otherwise.
The mistake was probably taking 83 minutes for a 2 minute (plus access and waiting time) DLR journey. As above, it looks like the journey time you were relying on isn’t appropriate for this journey.
