I think there has been a corporate loss of memory. This as a result of not selling Zone 1 to 6 extension tickets. Harold Wood is now used as a proxy and so confuses everyone. Clearly there are few people that use this ticket option.
It would be good if the online purchase had an additional selection alongside rail card holder. That would be London zonal fare holder that would automatically sell an extension ticket.
