    The fare finders suggest that railcard-linked oysters only pay the peak fare for journeys between Heathrow and Z1 at peak hours, but TfL’s press releases for the “always peak” rule doesn’t seem to mention this. I’m assuming the fare finders are correct.

    If so, is this the only case in LU where different passengers are charged differing peak/off-peak at the same time?

    Hi Kijeta,

    It’s a subtle difference, but they are still peak and off-peak fares, they’re just charged at the same price. But railcard discounts apply to off-peak fares so they appear cheaper.
