    As title. Epsom to West Croydon is £2.70 but Ewell East to West Croydon is £3.00. It seems that there is an anomaly that a longer journey is cheaper than a shorter journey on the same line. Why is that?

    It’s a misunderstanding caused by two different teams setting the fares.
