Travelling from Vauxhall train station to Box Hill and Westhumble

Hello, I was wondering if somebody could help me with this query I have please.

We are going to London next month, and plan on travelling by train from Vauxhall to Boxhill.

When we were in London last year and did the same journey, we had to buy a paper ticket at Vauxhall station for our journey, as last year Boxhill & Westhumble was outside of the contactless travel area.

From what I remember being told last year, Boxhill & Westhumble station was one of the stations that was due to have contactless travel rolled out to it late 2025.

However, I have not been back to this station since July 2025, and I was wondering if anyone can confirm if contactless payment/contactless travel is available now from Vauxhall to Boxhill & Westhumble?

If it is, I’m assuming there won’t be any ticket barriers, so is there some sort of card validator terminal that I would need to tap out on?
