ParticipantWith the Overground having a special service between London Bridge and West Croydon on Sunday I wanted to give this special service a go.
I’ll be travelling from Hatton Cross to West Croydon obviously going via London Bridge.
The single fare finder gives a standard adult fare of £3.50 off peak but doesn’t state the route.
Further down the list of fares it mentions a £6 off peak fare by changing to National Rail at London Bridge – however I would be using Overground instead.
Any idea which fare would be charged?

ModeratorHi Chris,
I very much doubt that the fare tables will be changed just for this one day, so sadly it will be a NR Mixed fare (NR-T). Do let me know if I’m wrong.

ParticipantDidn’t end up doing the Overground from London Bridge in the end but I unfortunately have another fares issue that I’ll create a new thread for

ParticipantHi
I am using TFL and found off peak fare Saturdays is only 4 pounds with contactless from Epsom Downs to Watford High Street or even Watford Junction – instead of 9.70. I’m a Hornets fan. BUT which route is 4 pounds and it must not be via Clapham, Balham, Victoria and many more!
Is there an app that show this?I know it is something to do with not going through zone one but what route should I take for next football season?
Trainline merrily says 29 pounds return! Thanks for any help. I have seen your great replies and hope you can help out.

ModeratorHi Richard,
Clapham Junction is not on the list of places to avoid, so you can change there. You could use the Southern service to Watford Junction from there, or use London Overground and change again at Willesden Junction.

ParticipantHi Mike,
Interesting I can get on that Southern train earlier at Selhurst that goes through Clapham Junction.
Great that I can change at Willesden so I can go on to Watford High Street (closer to ground).
Very helpful

ModeratorYou can also travel back from Watford Junction to Watford High Street if you take the faster train. Every 15 minutes and takes about 3.
