Adam StandenParticipant
Thanks again all who replied. Will (nervously) try big next time.
Adam StandenParticipantThat’s interesting as I can’t register my phone on my TFL account, only bank cards.
How would I track my journey history for both the phone and debit card as they are attached to the same card?
Adam StandenParticipantThank you Alan.
It’s not a joint account with two debit cards. It’s one debit card which I want to use to top in and out and also use the Apple Pay on my phone which uses the same debit card details but in a different form when used from the phone.
It’s nit a big deal, so I’ll just purchase a paper ticker for my son.
Thank you all who have replied.

Adam StandenParticipantThank you for a quick reply.
He is only 14 and doesn’t have his own debit card. We also don’t travel to London enough to warrant paying out for the 11-15 zip Oyster photo card.
It was only to save a measly 10p anyway ????
It’s only a single journey otherwise it would be better to get the child’s one day Travelcard paper ticket.
“You need to pay for your own travel with a different card or device.”
Doesn’t clarify if the card and phone count as different when they both link to the same bank account.- This reply was modified 1 year, 7 months ago by Adam Standen.

Adam StandenParticipantThanks. Maybe I’ll end up getting a Chiltern service. I was hoping to not have to lug heavy suitcases as I’m going to Kings Cross/At Pancras.
Adam StandenParticipantThanks I’ll wait then 🙂
Adam StandenParticipantThanks Mike. I found this on TFL’s website so it appears I can touch in even earlier
