    I am seeking advice re current (in case of any changes) Rules of Carriage as follows :

    I have both Oyster 60+ and a Senior Railcard and want to travel from Paddington to Cornwall on GWR.
    Can I purchase the fare from West Drayton but still board at Paddington even if the train just whizzes past West Drayton so not actually calling there. What happens regarding booking of a seat – from where would it be reserved ?

    Hi,

    Yes you can buy tickets from West Drayton, though beware that they also offer fares via London which you obviously don’t want. You will be able to book a seat from Paddington, but you’ll probably need to do that at a station once you have the tickets.
