    I’m aware there is a short grace period of a couple of minutes on touch-ins in favour of the lower fare at the transitions between off-peak/peak and vice-versa to avoid complaints about station clocks being fast/slow etc. Does anyone know if there is a similar grace period applying to the 0900 Mon-Fri start time for the validity of 60+ Oyster cards and elderly freedom passes? I assume there is but can anyone confirm?

    Hi Simon. I don’t believe there is any grace period with the 60+ Oyster card.
