    Caps and travelcards expire at 04:30 the following day. Just like there is a grace period to peak/off-peak times, can I ask is there also a grace period by 5 minutes for this too?

    Hi Duncan,

    Not as far as I know. A rail journey in progress at 0430 will be completed on the day it started as long as maximum journey time isn’t exceeded.
