Discount B&T Oyster and capping

I know that you can buy a weekly or monthly bus pass at a discounted rate of 50 percent over the usual adult rate and that currently individual trips are 80p and cap at £2.40 for the day.

But does the B&T discount Oyster also cap at the discounted weekly rate or is there no weekly bus cap (i.e if used enough you’d be charged £2.40 each day for 7 days instead of the £11.60 (I think that’s what it is) for a weekly bus pass on B&T discount.
