Putney (NR) to Brixton (LU) default route?

    Just a general query: according to the Fare Finder, the default route from Putney (NR) to Brixton (LU) is “zones 2/3 [£3.00 peak/£2.60 offpeak]”, but the obvious and quickest route, and the one I use, is “via Vauxhall (zone 2) [£2.60/£2.40]”. I’m just wondering which route via zones 2 and 3 is considered the default? I can’t see any obvious routes at all. Thanks.

    Hi Andy,

    The best I can come up with is Putney – Clapham Junction – Balham – Stockwell – Brixton.

    Agreed it looks wacky, but it was probably more reasonable before the Overground went to Clapham Junction.
