The contactless PAYG system will shortly (early December?) be expanding to cover over 50 new National Rail stations. In preparation for this expansion I have been working behind the scenes on aspects of this website to better cater for people who are new to the concept of PAYG in the South East.
I’m delighted to announce that the first stage of that improvement is the ability to search for National Rail stations using the 3-letter (sometimes called CRS or Central Reservation System) codes. This is now live.
A good deal of checking has gone into making sure that the codes are correct, but if you do happen to spot one that’s wrong I’d be very grateful if you could reply to this post to let me know.
Only found one incorrect in my local area: Merstham is MHM, not MHN.
Cheers Sean,
That’s been corrected.
Sorry, the code for Moorgate is wrong. It is MOG but shown as MOO in the finder.
Cheers Michael,
I’ll correct that when I’m back at my desk. Looks like the problem was a column too narrow on the spreadsheet so wide codes were truncated.
