TfL Website Sign-in Issues

Is anyone else having problems signing into their accounts on the TfL website? Every time I try to log in I have to complete the wretched captcha puzzle at least twice and often three times. It’s not because I get the pictures wrong either. After the first attempt I’m redirected back to the “are you a human” page before getting another captcha.

I know TfL are trying to prevent unauthorised access, but I can’t help thinking they’re using a sledgehammer to crack a peanut here.

  1. Yes – I had to do it even more than three times, and tick “I am human” 3 or 4 times.
    I find those picture puzzles really difficult as well – I had to click on pictures containing a bicycle several times, and I didn’t think it was clear which ones were.
    I was beginning to think that perhaps I wasn’t human!

  2. Me too, thought it was just me!
    Rarely use the website these days just the app but wanted to check which car was being used for auto top-up on my daughter’s Oyster card as a couple had expired during the pandemic and this drove me crazy. Got in eventually though.

  3. Yes me also, gave up after 4 attempts. The pictures are abysmal quality and you have to get far to many correct. Can’t find anywhere to complain to yet.
